One of the things I love most about tutoring is inspiring my students to look at learning in a different way, and transforming education from a dull process to a source of discovery and excitement. It is through incorporating their interests into the subject matter that students are not only able to focus and become more invested in their education, but they are also able to conduct themselves in a confident and collected manner when approaching their studies. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Economics modified with Public Policy with a minor in Government from Dartmouth College. In terms of teaching experience, I spent much of my time at Dartmouth College as a peer tutor, specializing in teaching the concepts of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. In addition to these subjects, I also invested a lot of time toward helping high school students write college application essays and preparing them for interviews with colleges. Another one my strengths is preparing my students for standardized tests such as the PSAT and SAT. My specialties are Math, History, Business, and Spanish. In addition, I am also able to provide my students with a variety of study skills and organizational habits in order to help them succeed.
