Experience
I earned two bachelor's degrees at Ohio State University, one in Business Administration with an Economics focus and the other in Film Studies. I then went on to earn my master's in TV Writing and Producing at Long Island University. While in grad school, I founded a company that has now produced six online comedy series. I believe my strong education is largely to credit for giving me the ability to get a successful company up and running. I would love to help other students achieve similar goals. The main strategy I use as a teacher is relating the material at hand to our everyday life. I think students have an easier time understanding concepts if they can be grounded in reality somehow. I like to help students establish a good foundation and habits they can carry on throughout their learning careers. The two fields I am most comfortable tutoring in are Writing and Math from junior high level up through Algebra and Geometry. I can also help students as they prepare to move forward with college application essays. In my free time, I love watching all kinds of sports, writing, watching television and hanging out with my family.
