Experience
I earned a business management degree from Monroe College, and then went on to Mercy College to earn my graduate degree in learning disabilities. I currently teach special education at the middle school level. I believe successful tutoring happens when the tutor finds out with a student likes and incorporates that into sessions. I've had a lot of practice doing this. I utilize a collaborative approach with my students, and we both learn together. I can help students with algebra, elementary and middle school math, writing, reading, ESL, study skills, elementary and middle school science, chemistry, business, social studies, and test preparation for the ACT, SAT, and other exams. When I have free time, I enjoy reading and listening to music.
